Llyn Crafnant - one of the many walks starting at Trefriw

A perfect walk in autumn as you'll be delighted by the beautiful colour-play of the foliage in the trees and the bracken on the majestic hills surrounding this lake near Trefriw.

It's set in a narrow valley and you can park your car literally at the lake shore and then walk around the lake on gravel paths which make it a pleasant walk in any weather. And, as usual there are plenty of streams flowing into the lake from the hills around it.

You can choose to walk clock-wise or anti-clockwise – totally up to you, but you don't need a map or a walking guide as you will struggle to get lost on this walk ;)

Enjoy an afternoon walk in this amazing part of Snowdonia, dog and family friendly and worth the trip.

Would you agree, seeing these photos I have taken?
