Re-opening soon - slightly differently, but still offering you a lovely holiday by the sea!

Well, it's finally looking like I can open my little Bed and Breakfast again here on the North Wales coast soon! Yay!

If things continue to develop positively with regards to the Covid-19 numbers, guests and their well-behaved dogs will be welcome again in Penmaenmawr B&B from August onwards.

I will have to do some things slightly differently to make sure we can all stay safe and I comply with current government guidance and regulations, but I am still aiming to provide with you with a comfortable place to stay during your (much needed?) break.

The two double bedrooms with sea views will with have their private bathroom each and the single bedroom will only be bookable in combination with either of the doubles.

This is because I'm limited to guest numbers due to having only two bathrooms in the house, which I want to offer as private ones to avoid any additional risk through sharing facilities.

A further safety measure to minimise contact means I will not be staying in the house with you as previously, but be there to welcome you on arrival and say goodbye to you at the end of your stay. And, of course, to provide delicious breakfasts so you can start your days well.

I'll always be on the other end of the phone though if you need me and can be there within 15 minutes.

How does that sound? Would you feel comfortable staying here with these adjustments? I sincerely hope so as I'd love to be a proper B&B hostess again and there are so many things you can see and do up here without running into masses of people.

I had considered offering my house as self-catering only for the remainder of 2020, but red tape and bureaucratic inflexibility wouldn't allow me to do so at short notice. But this way I feel everyone will have their own space and I'm not putting any of my lovely guests at risk.

So, hopefully, see you soon!
